Overview

The Certified Logic Validation Analyst - CLVA™® qualification is specifically designed for professionals who have reached an advanced milestone in their software testing careers. It serves as a specialized credential for those looking to transition from general execution to high-level analytical roles, ensuring they possess the technical depth required to handle the complexities of modern software environments.

The CLVA™® Certification provides participants with a profound understanding of, and extensive practical experience in, the art of Test Case Design. Throughout the program, your knowledge of software quality objectives, the system development lifecycle (SDLC), and the integration of quality assurance within functional testing is rigorously reinforced, ensuring a holistic view of the testing process.

A primary pillar of the CLVA™® Certification is its concentrated focus on test design. Participants are given ample opportunity to master this craft, moving beyond basic checklists to create sophisticated, high-coverage test cases. This focus ensures that analysts can maximize defect detection while optimizing the resources required for execution.

In addition to design, participants are empowered to architect comprehensive quality assurance frameworks. Through our E-Course, you will explore advanced techniques for "trawling" for requirements even when formal documentation is missing. This includes mastering the use of context diagrams and data-flow diagrams, as well as developing soft skills in workshop facilitation and interviewing subject matter experts to extract critical system information.

Finally, you will learn how to bridge the gap between theory and practice by applying testing strategies to real-world situations. By the end of the program, you will have gained full competency in the techniques essential for professional test analysis, enabling you to perform outcome-driven activities that provide clear, actionable value to your organization.

The Certified Logic Validation Analyst - CLVA™ is a foundational credential awarded by ITQMA to professionals who have demonstrated core competency in project frameworks.
